I've been running 10.10.4 on my desktop for a while now, and I want to start using my Apple Magic Mouse with it. The only problem is, my Insignia USB Bluetooth adapter doesn't want to work with OS X. When I open up System Information, is shows up under the USB Device Tree as BCM20702A0 with the following information:
Product ID: 0x0239
Vendor ID: 0x19ff
Version: 1.12
Serial Number: 98588A055ED3
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: Broadcom Corp
Location ID: 0x14400000 / 3
Current Available (mA): 500
Current Required (mA): Unknown (Device has not been configured)
I've tried using the kexts from this post about installing Yosemite on the Lenovo IdeaPad Z580 which uses the same Bluetooth device, but it didn't work.Insignia Bluetooth 4.0 Usb Adapter Driver Download
Hello,
I have a Bluetooth adapter on my PC (Windows 8.1) and I am trying to make and receive phone calls on my PC via my iPhone 5. My PC plays sound (Like music and system noises) coming from my phone but I can not use my PC's speaker/microphone to talk on the phone. When you dial a number the phone defaults to the iPhone speaker and microphone
My adapter supports the following profiles:
• BPP
• DUN
• BIP• PAN
• GAP• SPP
• HSP• HID
• PIM SynchronizationInsignia Bluetooth Driver Windows 10
• A2DP
• FTPWhen I right click on my sound icon in the task bar (bottom right) and click on 'Playback Devices' I can see a device called 'Headphones- Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio' but then it says Disconnected (Also nothing happens when I right click on it and choose Connect). I also have a device under the Recording Tab called 'Microphone- Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio' which also says Disconnected.
Am I just doing something wrong or is it the PC/Adapter??
The Bluetooth adapter is an Insignia NS-PCY5BMA (If that helps)
Thanks,
Any help appreciated :-)
